For as much as they nailed the external styling they really botched that launch interior. I see a lot of these on the roads though so must be doing well and 7150 towing is awesome.

    Good to see more competition

Agreed. The infotainment sucked balls and the backup camera was extremely shitty. I think it was worse than on my 2015 Pathfinder. Nice to see that they finally did something but from the article I am not seeing cooled seats or a digital dash. I can't remember if the rear slider is powered or not.

Afterburn Orange eh? I guess Solar Octane was taken.
I see they're copying Tacoma and making the Frontier lettering inside bigger and bolder right under infotainment. Wonder how they achieved the higher tow capacity, different gear ratio is only thing coming to mind.

I know this is a Tacoma forum but I’ll be damned if I don’t admit that it’s a nice looking truck and the price point is definitely enticing. With some of these ‘24 Tacos having transmission and engine issues, I wouldn’t be shocked to see Nissan start creeping up on the Tacoma in terms of units sold.

I have to say that the interior isn't as hideous as the 4th gen Tacoma. :anonymous::anonymous:

That said, I still dont understand why I need a big screen TV in my car. The arms race towards digital is getting silly now.

The tundra is awful in high trim, super distracting.

I turned 40 recently and now I'm starting to get it.

I've been complaining for a while that Nissan didn't offer a Pro-4x long bed Frontier. I would have bought one back when I was looking, that's exactly why I was snooping around the Tacoma. Now they offer Pro-4x long bed! Argh!

Now I wonder if I should consider trading in my Titan Pro-4x, now that I can get the bigger bed on the Frontier..... uggghhh.....

I sat in one at the dealership, man that back seat is VERTICAL. Like, zero recline. I don't suspect my kids would like to sit back there for very long.

I wonder if they still metered the power steering to feel like manual steering.

Not a bad looking truck. I just can't get over the Nissan stigma. I mean, I did have two Frontiers before (04 and 07) and they weren't bad. The 07 needed timing chains, but that was the only real issue I had between both.

I had a '22, and while the seat back was very vertical, it did seem to have a bit more room between the front edge of the seat bottom and the back of the front seats. My now 16 YO daughter liked it better than the 4th Gen Tacoma back seat oddly enough.

WTF is on the tailgate? That’s almost as bad as the chin spoiler on the Tacoma.

This was the main reason I traded my Nissan for the Tacoma. From what I read today, Motor Trend stated that nothing mechanical has changed so I expect the heavy steering to remain.

It’s hideous. I guess Nissan wondered how they could shit it up more. Hey, let’s paint it Solar Octane!
