Attach it to the window or dash, pull back the weatherstrip on the driver's side of the dash, stuff the wire in as you move down to the kick panel, plug in your gauge to the OBDII and ziptie up the excess wire and place it behind the top of the left side kick panel.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Does the ultra gauge do more stuff than say my scan gauge 2? I don't see many folks with the SG2 and lots with the UG.

I guess you'd have to ask someone with both of them...i bought the UG because it was less than half the price of the SG2 and more than Double the screen size.

The one thing that my UG doesn't have that i really wanted was Transmission Temp. But they'll make an updated version eventually.

Hmmmm I noticed you guys can look at 6 things at one time. I have 4 gauges at a time but it is easy to scroll. My guess is they do the same things...picked uo my SG2 for 75 bucks so can't hate too much.

I got my UG brand new, with suction cup mount, and free two day shipping for $66.

From my experience with my UG it is very easy to read and not only can you view 6 gauges at once, you have 7 pages of 6 gauges....to flip through with ease

I have a manual so I don't care about this but there is some way to add a patch to the SG to bring up trans temp...it's out there you just need the code to make your SG pull from those sensors...

Gotcha. SG doesn't read it right out of the box either...but there is a code you can get online and type in that allows it to FYI. But again I gove no fucks about trans temp.

So got a new trans code today. From reading online and me realizing that the guy before me never had the trans fluid changed that is the culprit. Delays my trip a few hours but better than having it blow up on me.
