Hmm I read that a compressor should have 8 gauge if you're going more than a couple feet from your power source

10 AWG should be good, 8 would provide you a little margin. Just check the NEC charts and your cable length run to see what the voltage drop would be. Typically anything less than 5% (0.6 volts) is acceptable. It'll depend on the length of wire you are running and the amps you are pulling that determine the gauge of wire to use. Just plug your numbers in here and you should be good to go. Or just listen to swimgood since he's the TW goddess :p

I tie all my switch ground and backlight wires together. I premade a harness for each to tie into dash wires, makes it simple.

One harness fer ground, one fer backlight to tie into a dash light circuit wire behind dash. If you search the forum you can find what wires you can tap. I used wires behind a blank switch cover to the left of the steering wheel.

Tested out the Puma compressor a bit ago. Filled the 1.5 gal tank from 0-145 psi in 1:11. Filled one 285 from 15-29 psi in ~47 seconds. Not sure how loud arb/viair compressors are but I think this is really quiet. Very impressed and well worth $225.

885 coils are sold. still got the other stuff
