I'm keeping mine until she dies, then go out & buy another SR5 access cab 4 cylinder / 5 speed.

 

You know 2012 is coming....who needs an ark when u got a tacoma

 

I will keep as long as she let me have her.. then ill get another tacoma d-cab but with 4x4 and it will be grey

 

I plan on giving my truck to my son (who is 3 now) when he is 16. I average 15,000 miles a year and the truck was had 18 miles on it when I got so that works out to.......195,000 miles on it when he gets it.

The truck will be just broken in for him, and I can get a new one.

Its a two-way street. As long as she's nice to me, I'll be nice right back. It's a love-love relationship. Haha. No hate! Although, at 91K miles already, she's been around the block a few times but by me the whole time.

 

No, I will keep it until either i die, or parts for it become unavailable due to age. I may get another Tacoma, but it won't be anything compared to the one i have now.

 

I'll probably end up with trail rig (Pre 86 runner or pickup, EFI doesn't matter too much) and keeping my taco as a DD.

Had the 82 for 27 yrs so the 05 should last until 2032 at least.........before getting another one. Are the 2035 concepts going to be at shows soon? Wanna see what the future holds.

Same as most, keep it and use it as a hauler/fun rig, get a fun car or another pickup as DD

 

If 3rd gen. tacoma come out in 2011 or 2013. I rather to wait few years to see how 3rd gen. tacoma improved and quality and value market. I did same thing with 2nd gen that come out 2005. I thought I will wait for few years and see how it goes. That is why I decided to buy 2010, supposed to be 2009 but lots of buyer brought 2009 quickly last July. So I ended up to order 2010. Took three weeks deliver. Happy with it.

 

I don't see how my next vehicle could be a Tacoma, unless it changes radically. Then again, I don't see my Tacoma going anywhere anytime soon since it's brand new, and I also may grow to love all the utility.

I just don't see myself ever buying the same vehicle model twice in my life. There are just so many awesome cars out there that I want to own!!

 

Who knows. It's paid for, but I'm not 100% in love with this truck. Possibly sell it for an 07 or 08 tundra. Whatever I do, I don't want payments again, though.

 

I can't wait til I pay off my truck, it's going to be like hitting the lottery every month. but today is the half way mark! only 2.5 years left!

 

I think I'll wait until they declare this one dead before I run out & purchase a new Tacoma, or Tundra.

1)Truck is paid off,.
2) Truck only has 111,000 miles on it, heck it's just getting broken in.
3) Truck is sitting on a brand new frame!
4) I prefer the looks of the generation one Tacoma's

 

I will keep my Tacoma until the day it dies. Then either get another one or make it into a monster trail rig possibly 3 link suspension. Who knows....

 

I'm going to pay mine off and keep it around forever. I got a free lifetime powertrain warranty from the dealer...so barring any major accidents I have a truck that really can't die, Toyota will just keep fixing it.
