    Lol! Yeah... Unless you're going to really put it to use it might not make much sense. For me, it has been well worth it.

    What are your thoughts on a similar design but utilizing 8020 aluminum pieces? Do you think the joining hardware hold up strong enough?

    I personally wouldn't do it but that's just me. I have worked with profile in a number of different applications and have seen it fail. If you do go that route, I would use the heavy version and be very careful with the hardware you choose to join them. I would use steel gussets/plates and wider t-nuts or flanged nuts in the slots. I have seen the normal ones rip out. I have also seen them loosen over time from vibrations.
