The GASSHOLE™ 2nd Gen Fuel Cap holder

My gas cap won’t fit either
I tried it before I put it on.
The cap fits from the back of the gashole.
So I figured if I take off 2 sections of the lip or the whole lip I’ll be good to go.
Must be an 08 sport thing

 

I still have to cut mine later today. Finishing up washing the fleet first

Edit: didn’t get to it. RAV4 and Corolla were nasty

I'm sure this has been mentioned....and may seem obvious to some. But just in case.....make sure you set the little lip behind frame (opposite side of the screw side). Otherwise you'll have a floppy Gasshole

 

Checking in with fellow Canadians waiting for their Gasshole to be delivered. Mine was sent off quickly and I was able to track its USPS progress until it left LA on May 30th, presumably from there headed directly north to B.C. Well here it is June 12 and still no delivery. Is this in any way similar to the customs/Canada Post delivery delay others have faced? Am I just being impatient?

 

I didn’t know Canadians are fans of Gassholes, go figure

 

I am also experiencing the same issue in Alberta. No further tracking since the 30th. I checked my mail yesterday and still nothing. Not sure what is going on, I had deliveries shipped with USPS arriving while they were ordered a few days after.

I'd say let's wait one more week and see what happens.

 

Try using the tracking number through CANADA POST.

 

Unfortunately USPS tracking numbers don’t work inside Canada Post. Unless you know a way to kick start the Canada Post app?

 

It does for me whenever the package enters Canada.

 

Just used mine today, love it, no more placing cap on the roof.

 

Does not look good. The tracking number isn’t even recognized by USPS now. Same with Canada Post. Yet another item lost in the abyss crossing into Canada?

 

Wait I take part of that back. It is still good on the USPS site. Canada Post has no idea what to make of the tracking number though

As a note, I also have another shipment from a different retailer being without tracking updates since May 25th. Definitely not the first time experiencing this issue with packages shipped using USPS.

 

Same situation. It's typically handed over to Canada Post to deliver it. My last update was on June 1st when it crossed over via the International facility in San Fran. Hoping it arrives eventually.

 

You plug the USPS # into Canada Post? That does not work. I tried it with mine.

EDIT: As per Canada Post website, that should work. Wonder if it's stuck in customs. Doh.

Notched mine today with a dremel so it’ll work with my gas cap. Had no choice at this point lol
