    So I guess a lot of the meso method is to travel back in time and see what worked on old cars and then apply that technology to the shortcomings of the new Toyota Tacoma. Simply GENIUS. I know Kicker is amazed at how many Taco owners are buying up 6 x 9 speakers like were so popular back in the 70's, 80's and 90's. I just took a quick glance at my 1998 Maxima and witnessed all the modern high tech features it has. Ash tray. Cigarette lighter. Shift mode button built in to the shifter handle. Hood lift struts. Quality stereo speakers. Forgot how advanced we were back in the 90's.

    So whats your thoughts of putting an led light or board on these. I actually think that would be pretty damn sweet, especially for those super late night fill ups when you are at a sketchy spot that has terrible lighting and you Don't want to miss the hole the first time you stick it:jerkoff:....I know getting power to it would be a bit of work but I have no doubt it can be done and simplified for the dummies like me by the great @mesojdm also if you do it in a future run I'd be down to test it out!!I could even send my 1st version mod back when your ready if you did it for the work although at the current cost I'd be cool just paying for the unit supplies and passing my original to a fellow member!!

    Easy. Few directional LEDs powered off a small watch battery. activated through a light sensor so anytime the door opens, it illuminates automatically. Maybe in Version 2.0;)
