    I simply took a Phillips screwdriver, placed it on the head of the screw, rotated it counter-clockwise a few times til the screw came out

    I installed mine today. That was a SUPER tight fit to get the screw hole to line up. Had to cut the plastic a little deeper on the opposite side of the screw. Not sure if it was just this one cap in particular but eventually got it on!

    Could’ve also just been me doing something wrong :notsure:

    @mesojdm ,

    LOOK WHAT SOME GASSHOLE DID TO MY TRUCK! If I ever catch that SOB, I’m gonna buy him a beer! :) :thumbsup:

    My color coded effort paid off and it blends in well and the extra layers of primer, paint, and clear coat didn’t affect the fit. It’s nice and snug the way it should be.

    I mentioned that the install was easy because the guy 6 posts above me said he had a difficult time and had to shave off some plastic. :notsure:

    I mean if the hole doesn't line up like it should, it's not really having trouble with the screw. Once the groove was cut deeper it fit the way it should. Otherwise, yes it would be a simple screw in.

    Is PayPal wrong? (Hopefully)

    Tagging along for when they are back in stock. Tired of stretching the plastic attachment "cord" to the door clip to get the cap out of the way.

    @mesojdm do you offer this mod without "the gasshole" etching? I saw some in your earlier posts about the prototype.
