    Easy fix really. For those with a Stant cap.

    Get out the Dremel, chuck up the larger size sanding drum. Just carefully enlarge your hole up to, but shy of the the THE GASSHOLE lettering keeping it round, then smooth out with progressively finer paper. Done. The cap threads in perfectly.
