    dude this is a 180 deg. turn/ bait and switch/ etc. You were concerned and interested enough to write a bunch of posts on it, then say you don't care and don't need one? I have the locking cap as well. It fits well enough, I just push it in a bit, plenty solid. If I wanted it to go deeper, I would shave a hair off the gashole, not the locking cap.

    The gasshole is totally unnecessary if you realize you can hang the gas cap from the clip, but unfortunately living in Oregon most state mandated gas fill specialists seem to not care about that and let it hang, not a huge deal but definitely not ideal when mixing gas and paint... Since getting the gasshole I haven't seen them hang it once.

    I was doing that, but felt like I was stretching that weak piece of plastic and it would over time break. Plus it happened to be in stock when I was ordering the puddle lights so might as well.

    I thought they changed that law. I recall recently laughing hysterically about Oregonians complaining that they didn't know how to pump gas

    I bought my gasshole simply because I have an illogical desire to modify my truck, even with some useless stuff.

    Same goes for the MESO total taillight kit. I can't even see it unless someone works the lights for me lol but I still did it.

    There's some counties where it's not required that they have an attendant, IIRC it's counties less than 15,000 people or something. In my experience I've filled up at stations in the middle of nowhere in south eastern Oregon where there's not likely to be 1,500 people in the county let alone 15,000 and they still had an attendant. Being born and raised in California I relish the trips back or up to washington where I can pump myself and top off the tank.
