Change the seller to someone else, there are (96) sellers. For example, Amazon sells it and it's a prime item, have it in two days.

Here is a funny story I wish to tell.

When I took the springs off the truck I threw them in the car and drove to North County Spring shop. When I was there talking to the owner, I encountered some trouble. He said that it would be $200 to take the pack apart and install the isolators and reassemble the pack.

There is no way I was going to pay that.

After further discussion, he wouldn't do it for anything less. He would however drill the holes and provide the isolators for $4 each but I had to tear down the pack.

He looked at me and said, I'm going to get paid... I looked at him and said I'll be back!

I didn't have any tools with me so I hit up the Harbor Freight that was two blocks away for a ratchet, sockets, crescent wrench, and C-clamp for $30.

I broke down both packs in 15 minutes on the side walk and handed them the leaves.

30 minutes of my time (shopping / wrenching), plus $30 in tools saved about $148.

I could have returned the HF tools but I wanted a set for my car, so I kept them. :)

The shop owner, Tony has had his shop since 1972. When I paid him the $52, Old dude said, "You know... When you love what you do for work, it's like not even being at work.... Be careful out there." :)

I crossed a lot of stuff off my list in the last week. Kind of insane, even by my standards...

    • Crazy Joker Rear Seat hitch pins
    • Total Chaos Bedside stiffeners
    • Cut Drivers Bedside
    • Internal Tailgate repair
    • Tailgate reinforcement
    • EZ-Down tailgate strut assist
    • Reinstall Rebuilt drive shaft
    • CMC cutting / welding
    • Clean frame and move wiring
    • Boxed rear end / Frame plating welding
    • Rear leaf pack reconfigure and refurbishment.
    • reattach frame wiring,
    • paint muffler (it's getting hideous).
I still have some clean up to to do such as,

    • put front mud flaps back,
    • measure drive line angles,
Here is my front end list.
    • Spindle gussets
    • Replace torn Moob UBJ boot
    • Install fully rebuilt factory performance factory LCA's
    • Install Bilstein 6112's
    • ECGS Bushing
    • Front brake lines, and replace brake line tubing
    • Front brake rotors
    • Front brake pads
    • Buy one Toyota inner diff dust seal 90304-A0001
    • Alignment.

    I need more time...

Everything in life seems to rely on both time and money. The trick is figuring out how to have both simultaniously.

Quoted for truth! I am almost done dumping money into the Tacoma. Maybe another 4K to finish it off. :ballchain: I can see the end!

    Thanks!

Thanks. I roped in a coworker to assist if needed. :)

    Looking good!

    Thanks.

Negative. Zero prep work too. I literally used a piece of cardboard to control over spray, crawled under, and just went to town with some VHT Engine enamel paint.

It was a little tricky to paint the top, but patience helped and I think I did a pretty good job. I just couldn't handle seeing rust on my truck, even if it is the stupid exhaust. :)
