Hey Nick. Revisiting this, what kind of symptoms did you have prior to the blower motor fix? I find that I barely get any flow out of my AC unless it's on the high setting. There's some, but very little. Searched your thread, but did not find it mentioned prior to this. Took it to Toyota today and they said everything was working as it should. I call BS, but whatever.

Quick release pins for my tire carrier. Pull those two and the whole thing swings open. The empty space to the left of the spare is for my gas can. Tabs are in place to bolt on the gas can carrier for wheeling and camping trips and removed for everyday driving to keep sticky fingers away.

Thank you so much man! I actually .:fistbump:
I learned to weld when I was restoring my mustang. Self-taught with the help of CarCraft magazine and youtube. Wanted to do the bodywork myself, because labor for that stuff was way to expensive for a college kid (at least to have it done right). Cut out rust and fabbed sheet metal panels myself and burned them in. First welds were garbage, but I picked it up and got better the more I practiced.

Nice fab job on your tire/gas can rack. Some photos or the rack to truck mounting would really be appreciated.

The classic symptom, is the blower only works on the high setting. Mine became intermittent, it turns out it's either the resistor, or the wire harness that connects to the resistor, both are easy to replace.

I would check the in dash air filter and see if it's clogged.

You know, the next trip we take I hope you take that para cord with you, all of it, there's room in the back of the truck, Expo for life! lol

Same here! Can't wait to get a welder just need space to put it.

@GHOST SHIP 's skills are great!

Okay. Everyone who votes for Ghost Ship make a build thread, say Aye.

    Aye, Crom. :)

    lol

Thanks Nick! Ill take a look at the resistor and the filter. I actually had the spool with me on the last trip. Aside from the paracord bracelet I wear everyday, I usually carry at least 40' of cordage in the truck at all times. I've been meaning to compile my build thread this year. My only problem is that I'm horrible at taking pictures of my truck. I'll get pictures when I go out, but they're usually of trees and rocks and stuff. :D

Since adding a fridge, I'd like to borrow your 2nd battery setup. Where do you hook up your D250S to the OEM electric system to allow battery isolation while the truck engine isn't running?

Second Auxiliary Fuse Block added, in Cab

Last Friday I was successful in adding a second auxiliary fuse block, this time I added it under the drivers seat to power the in cab electronics. I had to move my dual band radio under the drivers seat and reroute some stuff but it works. Fuse block is held down with some hook and loop faster.

The new fuse block is powered by a 10 AWG run that is fed from a 30 Amp fuse in the First Auxiliary fuse block located in the bed of the truck. I ran this wire back in 2013.

I use anderson power poles for making all connections quick, easy and dynamic.

Built fuse block, ready to go into cab.
    IMG_20160603_160553_84f4b3bad60c79898b8fdc31a373e48f50689854.jpg

I had to move my dual band radio out of the way, by justifying it all the way forward and to the left of center of drivers seat.
Added zip ties for strain relief for all the connections to radio, Mic, remote head, (2) speakers.
    IMG_20160603_141133_0c61b1beae3472662734bed757f678b619eb0580.jpg

In the above photo, you can see two wire harnesses come up through the floor. The black one has (2) 10-AWG wires running back to the bed of the truck for power. The blue one is antenna coax for the dual band radio.

:taco:Here it is installed under the seat in it's new home. :taco:
    IMG_20160603_163225_5abb533ff0245ec7d2cd7b3e2a202384ec8acc97.jpg

I ran out of 1/4" split loom. When I get more, I'll dress up the wires a bit more. :)

I'm quite happy with the outcome. :) :bikewheelie:
