For the first time ever, my fiancé loves a truck I purchased. She loves the look inside and out, the features, ride, plush interior, etc. She actually wants to drive it. Uh oh!

I’ll take some pics tomorrow, then later after I get the steps and other mods and accessories added.

    It’s official, I’m an owner!

    Cheers,

Agreed. My wife makes me drive her everywhere now. The premium package really makes the taco feel like a luxury truck. She was like your 2017 had nothing and now this truck makes my car feel super old. She has a 17 rav4.

I Had a 23 Sprt premium. We got the wife a 23 civic type r 3 weeks later. I traded in a A veloster turbo for the truck as we just got a house and needed a truck. Plus a second kid was on the way. But I preferred the type r over the uncomfortable and laggy 3rd gen. Traded the 3rd gen for the fourth gen sport premium and the fourth gen makes the 23 Type R feel old if I’m comparing infotainment systems. The 24 for me is so comfortable and I now love driving a truck. I overheat easily and those vented seats feel so good in the summer. Plus now I have a 360 camera. Independent suspension was another big improvement. So much more but I won’t ramble on.

    That's a nice looking Tacoma!

Yeah it's a cool feeling when you look down at your odometer and it's in the single digits.

Nice I just traded in my 23 type r for this taco. I’ve noticed women really like the type r, I’ve heard at least 5 stories now of a girl wanting a type r and not knowing of any other cars. I miss driving it but I also love being back in a truck.

Toyota also has a much better adaptive cruise. Honda would always just slam on the brakes to slow down and Toyota seeems like it just eased off the accelerator like a normal person would.

She drove around in my veloster turbo and that was slow. Her first car was a civic stick shift and the 23 type r was her first brand new car. She has me to teach her about car culture so she doesn’t seem like a clueless girl lol

If she can drive a stick, she's not clueless.

Anyway, I owned the first edition of the Honda Pilot in 2003...got it in July 2002.

It drove like a sedan except of course it sat up higher.

My wife can't stand driving my AT/DCSB/Sport...she prefers smaller vehicles like the Civic...

But we got her a less expensive New 2017 Elantra SE/AT that was $5K less with more amenities.

Good luck sitting shotgun when Fiance' has the reigns!!! lol
