I was a Mental Health Specialist (glorified orderly) in a state run mental hospital for a year, so we can go 'tit for tat' on that one. I still have nightmares about the screams and wailing that echoed down the dark hallways at night.

P.S. the department of mental health has the lowest budget of any state run program in SC (no i'm not exaggerating, its completely true), so you cant even imagine the conditions. Prisoners at guantanamo had it better than the patients did

P.P.S. yes, i realize that me owning the title of "mental health specialist" is very ironic

Ive done some work in state/city run nursing homes in the "bad" part of town. How does that fit in? Nothing like opening up walls to run new outlets and having it moving because of roaches inside it.
