    Well yesterday and today were my days off ( lucked out getting july 4 off, i know). I couldnt fall asleep, managed to sleep from 2 am to 5 am. I love working the midnight shift but hate dealing with screwy sleep patterns on my days off.

    Amen.... I hate it. The older you get, the harder it is. On Wednesday, I stayed up all day. For the most part - it's Ok if you stay busy. After dinner, it's rough trying to stay up. Even after I went to bed at 8pm, I was on/off sleep all night long. Not a restful sleep. I had today off and even last night, I was up 2-3 times and had a hard time laying in bed trying to fall back asleep.

    I've got vacation next week and 1 week of this shift left. I can't wait to get off it!!
