I've been trying to set one up but no one ever has time off together.

 

@Overkill07 yall making it to Gilmer or hot springs?

 

Trying for Gilmer this weekend, Misty won't be going. Not sure about Hot Springs. It's Volleyball season so kids come first.

 

I'm good for a meet up, also for a park too. I've been to Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, and next month will check out Bridgeport NW of Dallas. Haven't been to Gilmer or Hot Springs, but keep me posted and I'll try to join up.

 

Hidden Falls wasn't bad it was just very poorly marked. There were several trails that we had to turn back on due to lack of signage. One of the worst I've seen in that aspect.

 

Yea, my wife and I got lost and went down a Level 4 Trail for a minute until we could turn around. Bone stock 4Runner, that thing is a beast. But lots of pucker moments....

Marking was bad bad bad there.

 

Yeah, I have a great appreciation for runners as we have a buddy that brings his and we have yet to see something that we went on that he did not follow.

So is there anywhere near here that's decent? I did the McFaddin run but I'm not a big sand and saltwater guy honestly, so it was just ok.

 

If your off this weekend there is a couple guys from this area going to Barnwell.

 

Joe will be there tomorrow I think we're meeting up around lunch and heading there. His driving does scare me and I'm not a passenger

 

Just watched the game highlights

 

Was gonna ask if anyone was gonna go to Cruisin' Silsbee, forgot about the Gilmer Trip. Wish I was going, I want to see some more of Joe's driving.

I'm looking forward to meeting this joe this weekend. @fajitas21 ypur more than welcome to come this weekend and meet up at hot springs when we're there! Next time we do some wrenching at the house we'all make sure and let you know.

 

So what I've learned so far is let Joe go first and keep your distance. Roger that.

 

Sounds good, I probably wont be able to make it this weekend, but I'm certainly interested in future meetups. As far as working on vehicles, let me know. I've got a decent amount of tools. Mostly woodworking and welding stuff, but plenty of mechanic stuff too.

P.S. I'm bad a welding, working on getting better. I don't trust doing important work like building trailer frames, but I'll get there.

 

Well if the trailer welds break at least you can just keep driving

 

Yea, but the guy I just launched a 70MPH missile at will probably not be as pleased.
