1. +1 Taco Stand, love the name
2. I heard the trail wheels are the reason it doesn't rub, the offset is causing it like you said. Nothing a little trimming shouldn't fix.
3. I'm taking my Ham Radio Technician test tomorrow to become an offical Doomsday Prepper..... :/ LOL

 

Taco stand now has my vote. Would be awesome to have a camp. I'm in for the money and the camp building weekend Extravaganza.

Let us know how it goes and ease of it, I've considered ham radio but nobody uses ham in the rigs.

My main use of ham would be for emergency comms and longer range comms. GMRS is basically a replacement for CB imo. It's just a skill I'd like to have, especially if we wander too far in Colorado and Utah.

I do not think we get a free membership. I think it's just for us to have a "spot."

So it might not be a simple ordeal. However, I'm usually pretty persuasive and easy to work with, so during Jambo it would likely be wise to speak with Ed and just express we are interested in this. If he views us as a civilized group of camping and wheeling guys who aren't there to start trouble, I imagine we might be able to make some progress with this.

I'll consult with the group, and bring Jake along to talk to him during the event.

If they are there during Jambo and have time too talk I'm down but they might be really busy and we would have to do it after Jambo.

I am good for Taco Stand.

Good luck with the HAM test, I failed the first time I went but I didn't study enough so that was my fault. I won't be able to take it again until like the weekend after Jambo since it is only offered the second Sunday of the month.

Same, I am only 40 minutes or so away from Barnwell.

Same if you allow Tyler people... ha.
