These are the shocks on there now. They are 51somethings, I may or may not have managed to scratch the sticker on both shocks right where it says while putting the spacers on. Can anyone identify?

Could have swore that I looked at them before I FUBARed the sticker and saw 5100, I just don't see where they would be adjustable.

That's pretty much how mine look. So I should only need springs, uca, and maybe add a leaf or whole leaf kit?

By chance.... but not likely. Most vehicles totaled by insurance, go into an insurance auction. Then get distributed that way. Most tacoma hold a high resale value. Wrecked or not. So even a truck totally smashed beyond recognition. Will be sold for over 9 grand. So the by chance you will ever find this in a local junk yard in Lubbock. Is far from chance. You might be able to find other tacomas. But not this one. Tacomas are so high priced people buy them salvage and try to rebuild them to sale. To make more profit.

I was lucky to find a wreck x runner a few years back. Bought it for 2 grand. Then had it towed back to my house for 300. Little did I know the high demand for tacoma truck parts!! I still made over 3 grand profit. But i should have made over 5!

We all will have advice that we will give and it is one man's opinion. The best thing you can do is research, research and more research. No one wants to lift their truck only to find that they should have done it differently. There is plenty of information on here to keep you busy reading for months. Below is a great thread to help understand the differences in the different suspension options. Did I mention you should do some research first? :D

He has a couple of different stages of this product. Be looking at them for awhile. Just haven't made up my mind. Not sure if I like them mounting to the cleats.

He is just living through Oscars' college life. Heck we all are kinda.
    More pics please, Oscar.

Thanks, as much as I want to get it done & finished I know I need to research. I think you guys will save me from wasting money trying to figure it out. I think I'm good on shocks though, maybe now I can afford to spend a little more on the other parts I will need.

I would not suggest a Tacoma for a truck to be used for a welder hauling his rig around. There is a lot of equipment and weight that goes with that profession. In my opinion you would have to modify the Tacoma too much to make it work. I think the money would be better off spent in a full size truck as the others had mentioned.
