You can't talk negative about spacers. Then put blocks in the rear

I agree with Dennis. But make sure she gets a quality spacer lift. No plastic. Opt for the aluminum ones.

If you go and look at any of the big three dealerships you'll notice that there lifted trucks that they sell are mostly using a spacer lift.

The only issue I've come across is the premature wear on components and the crappy ride quality. Spacer lifted are quite rough.

Below are some alternatives within her budget:

    https://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/mobile/3-lift-kit-with-Bilstein-5100-Front-Coilovers_p_364.html

Another thought would be a body lift. This would retain her factory suspension but allow her to stuff those 33's in there. She may also need a wheel spacer with this route :notsure: These can be had for a couple of hundred dollars. Anything more than two inches in a body lift and I think she'll have to get extensions on things like fuel filter hose, steering linkage, bumper relocation brackets, etc.

The decision is really going to be dependent on what she plans on using her truck for. Looks, towing, offer road capabilities, etc.

Let us know some more info to make a more informed decision.

Be cheaper if you swap parts right off his truck. Buying the parts for cheap. Then charge him to swap the parts

The spindle doesn't lift the truck. You still need lift springs and shocks

Yes, but you still need the springs for the lift. The spindles just keeps the geometry together.

Still doesn't make sense! ! You have two moving parts. Just because the spindle is 4 inches longer. Doesn't lift the truck. The springs lift the truck

Dennis you're wrong and Devin is right. All you need up front for a spindle lift is the spindles and extended brake lines. The spindles do the lifting not the shocks and coils.

I don't know the correct answer but I agree with you Dennis. When I think about it, you have two control arms that are both free to pivot vertically. The strut is fixed at one end and has a pin joint at the end attached to the lower control arm. In my mind if you increase the spindle length you would just raise the upper control arm.

Maybe @Biscuits could give his input. He has a spindle lift.

My db lift needed 6 inch spacer to get the lift...... so 4 inch would need 4 inch spacers.

The spindle lift I did for jack. He got 6 inch icons
