:smack::smack:dumbest fawking comment ive seen in a long time(and there is quite a few in the last couple pages)..obviously you have no clue what you're doing!! The ignorance in here towards long travel is appalling, and the fact that the competition between a mid travel rig vs a full long travel rig is even close makes me sick. :puke:

Then what would be the criteria for judging this? You can't compare the two really, MT V LT, who's rig is more capable?

It's not about Long travel vs mid travel. Or expo or whatever. Just about the members' choice. Both are great trucks with a lot of work done to them.

Jason, could it be that people who haven't looked at your build or don't know your truck don't realize that its still a 4x4?

Um, yeah, some of you guys are being pretty silly. Never was this populartiy contest a challenge between MT and LT or the drivers or their brains or which one has the hottest GF.

This was open to ALL types of trucks, including 2wd lowered.

Take this for what is meant to be. A friendly popularity poll for fun, not bipartisan bickering. Don't we already have enough of that these days?

Take a pill and have some fun.

    I voted for Boxrocket.

It had nothing to do with MT vs LT.

It came down to who did and who did not have a bug guard on their hood.

Sorry Jason. You should have put more thought into your build. I mean, wtf are you going to do when you get attacked by a swarm of gnats?

Haha. You could be right. I'm no stranger to low gears and manual transmissions. My FJ40 had 4.88's and an SM420 Trans with a 7:1 first gear and was right about 82:1 total crawl ration. It was nice. Then my last minitruck (a '93 SAS pickup) had 4.88's and a Marlin Ultimate dual case crawler that was 220:1. Without question they worked on the trails. The difference is if I had to choose just axle gears with a stock manual trans, I'd pick the automatic every time. With larger tires the axle gears are only getting you back close to stock. That's just not enough on its own. Now add a crawler or something like that and it changes things.

Its no fluke that the majority of the comp buggies run automatics.;)
