I enjoy most about the grand tour, but I will agree with most of the previous posts, I want to see more test drives, silly build challenges, and 2 part specials.

I watched up to the halfway point of episode 2 and bailed.

Judging by the responses here it didn't get any better.

All the staged crap really turned me off the show.

The "Not the Stig" NASCAR redneck driver schtick got old real quick.

If it regains its compass maybe I'll revisit the show.

It sorta lost its edge a bit, but I think that's growing pains. Their two part dune buggy episodes started to bring it back around imo.

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
The dune buggy episodes were much better than anything before. I actually enjoyed them.

I agree with others, they need to stop killing celebrities and seriously filter the comments of the American. That guy's commentary is simply horrible and embarrassing.

I was ready to quit watching it, but the beach buggy episodes brought me back... and no offense to Mike Skinner, but his commentary is ruining one of the things that made that show great...Driving the hell out of bad ass cars!

The beach buggy episodes were good up until they built a cable tram from scrap metal.

Stretched credulity a bit much with that one.

At least those 2 episodes were entertaining enough to get me to watch them through.
