that would be great, update post#1 with the names and also have a list below of all the states it has hit. i know it has his the same states a few times, but a running list of states would very very cool to watch!

 

To calibrate, am I supposed to put the switch to the top, key up, and then rotate the dial till it gets to the word calibrate? Sorry for the questions, the instructions aren't exactly the same as this meter

 

Yes, then flip switch to swr while still keyed and watch where the needle stops, then stop pressing mic button, record number

 

Put it on calibrate . Key the mic and dial it in. Then switch it and test.

 

I still have this. Finally got off my ass and went to tune it. Best I could get on channel 1 is 1.5 and channel 40 is still reading 3

 

Try achieving a solid tune in channel 20 and then go check your 1 and 40

 

I followed the directions in the kit. Said my antennae was too long and it's backed all the way down and still a 1.5 and a 3. I think I'm gonna get a new coax. I also have my antennae mounted on my bed with a BAMF tailgate bracket. It isn't stainless and starting to rust. I really want to find a stainless bracket that won't rust. The continuity tests ok but idk if the rust is causing a bad connection.

 

I had it a while back, it had a book in there we were all signing. Did that get lost?
