Finally after having my 08 TRD sport for a year I decided it was time to start the mods. I added the Toytec Ultimate lift set at 3 inches in the front. I put on Moto Metal 951s wrapped in 265/70 17inch BFG ATs!
I am very pleased with the ride quality and look. It rides smoother than stock now in my opinion. My only concern is whether to leave the coilovers at 3 or move them down to 2.5.

Thanks for the feedback! Judging by crappy picture quality my next mod needs to be a digital camera. I just used a disposable camera to take these pics and I will take some better pics when I get my new camera.

Love how it looks now! My truck is exactly the same except mines not lifted yet. I have OME 885s and OME shocks, I'm curious if mine will set that high after I get them installed, I hope so but kinda doubt it.:)

I have been curious what my truck would look like with the toytec ultimate lift. I have the revtec leveling kit now, but want to switch it over. So I did a search, found this thread, and realize our trucks are friggen IDENTICAL. Same rims and tires and everything, so needless to say your truck is looking SWEEEEEEETTTTTTT:headbang:How is the ride? How much rubbing?

The ride is in my opinion just as smooth as stock. I have absolutely no rubbing and plenty of clearance with the 265/70 17s. I am extremely pleased. Thanks for the compliment!

Nice build. Your pictures do a great job comparison wise between lift/no lift. Much appreciated.

I know this thread is old. Did you ever decide to lower the front and have you had any issues with that much lift?
