I have some black vinyl on the way to do a full-ish chrome delete. Uni filter for SAI pump mod ordered today and I have a Viair heavy duty system new inbox that I never installed in my Taco.

I contacted several companies about suspension and waiting to hear back about how ridiculously long of a wait it will be. Current thought is to chuck some 6112’s and 5160’s(if I can find some) under it and then order something to roll on.

Wow quite the change. Why’d ya make the switch? You’re truck looked pretty built, had to hard to walk away from a tacoma with long bed, shell, full racks, bumper…

Biggest reason I just wanted something different. I’m going to miss it for sure. I’ve had a lot of fun in that taco . But I also like an SUV a bit better.

I’m considering putting in a 50 series flow master for some v8 rumble noise. Curious as to how it would sound if I leave the resonator on.

I like the GX but I would feel guilty getting that nice deep black paint all scratched up.
But black rigs look bad ass!

    What color interior is it?

Black interior. I’m either going to go broke from having it buff on the reg or learn to do it myself.

I think that X3 of yours would hardly be noticeable behind the V8. I know it’s not a crazy powerful motor but coming from a taco on 35’s it’s a rocket ship.

I'm only on 33s but don't notice it behind the truck (except when I look at the fuel gauge). Is there a supercharger for the GX?
That'd really liven things up :burnrubber:

Not that I have found yet. I would love to supercharge it.

Youll love it. Sold my 16 TRDOR and picked up a 06 470 a couple months back. Loving it so far.

I’m already pretty smitten. It’s such a huge step up from a Tacoma comfort wise.

Agreed. The comfort. The power. Overall im very happy. And still a very capable platform.

I need to order some crossbars for roof rails. The standard Lexus ones look awfully low to roof. Not sure the mounts for me giant Yakima roof box will fit.
