Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I recall reading somewhere where a guy had a Volvo that he bought new in the 70s and had like 3 million miles on it. I am sure this can be accomplished!

If you make it, this has to be sent to toyota about how far you've went. Who knows, maybe your truck could be on the news or something :D Even if it got above 500k, it would be impressive.

Maybe Toyota will follow this and buy it back from you when you get there, like Honda did for someone.

I heard or a guy that had a first gen with like 629k on it when he traded it in. Also last summer I was paging through an AutoTrader and some local guy had an 02 Duramax that had like a million miles on it. It was a farm truck, beat to hell, but still ran like a top I guess, used a little oil but that's about it. Can't for the life of me remember the price he was asking for it, but it was cheap!

    Heres the link: http://autos.yahoo.com/news/the-first-car-to-3-million-miles-.html

Saab was also doing a thing where if you reached a million miles they would buy it back and give the owner a new one as long as you were the original owner.

Impressive! I'm not gonna catch up to you, but my 2007 CC TRD 4x4 V6 auto has 263,000 miles on it right now. I'm in the timber business and it's been in the woods every day since we bought it new.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of replies, I've been out of town quite a bit lately.

Yesterday I replaced my valve cover gasket for the first time on the truck. It had developed a slow leaked from the back left corner and figured I'd get it squared away. Super easy job(takes about an hour). The old spark plug gasket was nice and crispy, kind of surprised me it hadn't started leaking yet. Also on a side note, until yesterday I had never really noticed the valve cover itself was made of a hard plastic. Hah, not that it matters. I just haven't seen a plastic valve cover before. Timing chain still seemed nice and tight and everything else looked tidy.

I saw that article too man. Crazy. I think I recall that he was a Volvo mechanic. I did find one story about a guy who had a Toyota Pickup that had over a mil on it. He drove as an escort for oversized loads and stuff.

I've gotta take it to the dealership soon for some recall stuff to be fixed, so it will be interesting to see the reaction of the mechanics :)

I was out of town most of last month and didn't drive the truck or have it looked at. But I think I may know what is causing it. I notice my catalytic converter is extremely close to the crossmember of the frame. I had my wife put it in gear and give it a little gas with the brake on and sure enough it makes a rattling noise when under load. I plan on taking it to an exhaust shop today to have them bend the support on the cat to move it away from the frame. Here's to hoping that solves it all!

Just got my truck from the exhaust shop. 20$ to cut and reweld the mounting brackets and most importantly the terrible rattle/creaking noise is gone!

Thanks! It's just crazy because the noise literally sounded like it was coming from the front left. And it sounded loud and terrible, like something was really wrong. As a reference the gap between the cat and frame was about an inch. That inch got significantly smaller when it was put into drive, and then the rest of the clearance was gone with moderate acceleration. Hopefully my experience can save someone else some time, money, and headaches in the future.

I was getting pretty bummed seeing 64k on mine. I've got a lot of faith in my truck. Good luck with the goal.
