Same. Luckily I'm headed back home to TN for a week in the woods around Thanksgiving.

Well I started my one pot thanksgiving diner this morning... I have never made baked sweet potatoes and apples, never made thanksgiving turkey, never made chicken and dressing, and never made any kind of pumpkin dessert... So I figured I could throw em all in the same pot and hope for the best (video will be out Monday of course)

Either you've got a tiny turkey or that's a huge pot. I'm sure it will turn out better than expected. Looking forward to the video.

I just fileted the breast out and I vacuum sealed the rest for later on (soups and stews and maybe fried haha) it was just a 12.5 on turkey though... The whole thing may have fit in the crockpot with a little elbow grease.

The pumpkin cobbler/bread still has a raw flour taste so its back in the oven to see if its salvageable but everything else is awesome

One pot Christmas? I think my dessert failed because the flour didn't get cooked through so if I do bread pudding I get around that...

Any thoughts or concerns (ill debone and skin the chicken to save space and not have to worry with soggy chicken skin)

Since everyone I’ve given this recipe to has loved it, I’ll share. It’s something I came up with.

    Hillbilly verde

1 Boston butt cut into chunks
    2 bunches of cilantro
    1 large yellow onion
1 bottle of chipotle tobasco sauce
2 bottle of La Victoria green mild taco sauce
    Season salt

Season meat to taste, Chop everything up and put in crock pot, add 3/4 bottle chipotle tobasco and 2 bottle of taco sauce. Mix it up, cover and cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. I’ve cooked it for a lot longer and have literally left it on warm for several day while me and my room mate ate it (ah, the single days). Add what ever you feel necessary, but it’s pretty delicious. Enjoy.

Do the bread pudding delete mod. Bread pudding is right up there with Milk Toast on my 'must miss' list. :puke:

Man... You dont like cinnamon or sugar or what? Also I learned the hard way a four side meal in one pot, raw flour wont cook through on low in a crockpot that is filled to the brim... But bread is already cooked so I got around that so... I still can't wrap my head around the "bad" part of bread pudding... Unless you put like walnuts or pecans in it I guess

It's a texture thing for me. Flavor is OK but I hate the texture. But I'm also not a big fan of a lot of cakes, for the same reason :notsure:
