Chicken from the crockpot with some corn cut off the cob from Sunday's BBQ went into some green sauce enchiladas.

My mom's friend was giving away a brand new instapot, like still in the wrapper new, with a really nice instapot cookbook. She asked if I wanted it. Um yes. I'd never pay for one but I'll take free. First go was last night. Did some refried beans, they turned out delicious. It's a sweet device.

Free is always good. I did hard boiled(steamed) eggs twice this week. Just add water up to the rack and place your eggs in. Press steam and wait for the magical beeps. Perfect eggs both times I tried it.

minimal ingredients. She put 1 package of beans (2lb) in the pressure cooker with about a tsp of salt, cooked them then in a big pan she mashed the beans with some of the liquid from the instapot. added some garlic powder, onion powder and salt &pepper to taste, and then added some bacon fat about 1/2 cup. let it cook down to creamy consistency stirring so it doesnt burn/stick on the bottom. Use this type of masher
