Welp, since it is a stay-in-the-house and watch wildcard football kind of a day, crockery will fit the bill.
I found a pork roast recipe that piques my interest with orange juice, zest, jalapeños, and bananas in the fold.
10-11 hours from now I will find out...
Hmmm... gonna give this dish a 7/10.

    Pork Roast with Chili-Orange Sauce.

We do Corned Beef in the slow cooker pretty regularly I like the Cabbage to take on the flavors of the beef so I put it in there the whole cook time.

Today I'm crocking that French perennial favorite Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic.
This is one of my fav's and it rates a solid 9/10 on the Hobbs-O-Meter for slow cooker recipes!
    Yum!!!

What are the spices? I have chicken thighs, onions and celery in the fridge. Still time to start the pot lol

Salt, pepper, nutmeg and tarragon. You can sub thyme for tarragon.

You still have time. It cooks 2 1/2-3 hrs on high, or 5-6 hrs on low.

    Check your PM.

Well, I've never posted on this thread, but I'll tell you one of my favorite simple crock dishes.

1 beef roast of any kind
2 bottles of Catalina salad dressing
1 package of dried French onion soup mix.

    All day on low.
    Great with mashed potatos!

    Enjoy!

    Just my 2 cents.

    Pork and Black Bean Chili.

This recipe caught my eye as it has a chipotle in adobo, reanimated ancho chilis, cilantro, and chicken stock slurry that goes in for the last half hour.
    Should be an interesting meal.
    Don't forget the cornbread muffins.
EDIT: I rate this a 6/10 and prolly won't make it again. Tastes like it came out of a can.
