    Most people think beef and barley, which I do. But I have been using barley to make soup with grouse and pheasants that I harvest and are especially full of lead shot for many years. So make my chicken soup that way also.

    I picked up some chicken breasts to try in the IP tonight, with barley soup. Only used egg noodles maybe a dozen times in my life for chicken soup. Would have preferred skinless boneless chicken thighs but my son likes white meat, ugh. Going to see if the IP can help out with the chicken breasts.

    I have a bay and also thyme plant in the house so that goes into everything LOL.

    no but I'd like to try it out. From what Ive read its either good or it isnt;) as in its easy to mess up. Let us know how it turns out!

    yeah I really don't like pasta but my wife does and so when we go to olive garden I always get their chicken gnocchi and I'm pretty ok with it (I mean it's not pizza or gravy and biscuit but it's very acceptable)

    no I haven't, is that really different than any other egg noodle? (I did a brief googleheimer)

    Its easy, just boil them in batches of like 12-15 at a time. They can get away from you if you try to do too many.
