I personally didn't know you could pour dry brownie mix in the waffle iron and it would come out as full on brownie waffles.

Cooking in plastic is something I try to avoid. The thought of those bags cooking with my food all day kind of weirds me out. Anyone else this way?

yes...kind of like the non-stick spray. I looked at a bottle of ingredients the other day and it says silicone dioxide (anti-foaming)...Im sorry but regardless of what the FDA says silicone dioxide doesnt sound safe.

I don’t use my crock much, and I rub it down with olive oil before I do. It doesn’t 100% keep everything from sticking, but does minimize clean up. I’m usually only making stews, or roasts with liquid, so clean up really isn’t bad for me anyway.

I've used both, and also just dumping stuff in there dry. all you gotta do is soak overnight to clean for my old one. nbd. but Olive oil or whatever is my preference for sure.

We got the 8 quart instantpot off an Amazon lightning deal (better than cyber monday/black friday price) for only 6 dollars more than the 6 quart. We use it at least 2-3 times a week. Haven't touched our crockpot in months because of it. The only thing you have to do is adjust your original slowcooker recipes to include less water since more liquid is retained until the end (curries, etc). I can't believe how tender meat is after only 20-40 minutes in the instantpot. We made chicken pho from a whole frozen chicken in 40 minutes and it turned out great. Highly recommend it.

My insert is ceramic (not sure if all are like that) but I soak it overnight and the mess wipes right out. Not arguing, just saying :)

Same here on the cleaning part. I just put it in the sink fill it with hot water and a little dawn and the next day everything wipes right out. Ours is the thick ceramic also.
