In the last few years the paper industry has rolled out ( :rimshot: ) a thermal paper with a vitamin C coating that is decompostable and biodegradable. But, it’s more expensive and generally only available in the usual dimensions so may not be available for some printers or system types.

Right now something like 80% of all thermal paper is supplied from a single Chinese manufacturer, and they were shut down in 2017 by the Chinese government for environmental reasons. If that gives you an idea about the quality and safety of things nobody ever thinks about handling.. China said it was too toxic. Caused a large price increase for wholesale market and obviously that’s trickled into consumer markets.

Maybe that will bring more phenol free thermal paper to the market, or maybe not.

We are all gonna die at some point. Why worry about every little thing. Eat, drink, laugh and enjoy the things around us. Like a crockpot filled with Beef Stroganoff :)

I think probably most of these forums have had plenty of those moments. I've had my fair share.

not sure if this has been mentioned, but has anybody done the chicken crack and used a flavored cream cheese? Kraft makes a jalapeno that may be good

    Alright, fine.
I prefer my Romans slow-cooked; any good recipes?
