Sir @scottalot ’s recipe in action (with minor adjustments).

    Buffalo Chicken Sammies

    • 2-3 lbs. chicken breast
    • 1 12 oz. bottle Frank’s Red Hot Wing
    • 1 1 oz. ranch dressing packet
    • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
    • 1 16 oz. bottle blue cheese dressing
    • 12 pepperjack cheese slices
    • 12 slider buns
    • Carrots and celery
Melt the butter and mix it with the wing sauce and ranch dressing packet. Let it sit and return later to finish mixing the lumps out
    455103FF-37D0-4CCA-B706-E914A618F4FC.jpg

Prepare your chicken breast. The dressing packet was plenty of added salt for me, so take that as a warning. I ended up doing 3 lbs. to make more leftovers for lunches.
    492A28EF-36DC-4443-B837-D1CE1CB28B12.jpg

Finish mixing the sauce, combine the ingredients in the crock pot, and coat generously.

Cook on low for 8 hours. Shred the meat with forks or tongs when finished. Leave it in the juices.

Toast the buns, melt the pepperjack cheese, and build your sammies (with blue cheese dressing on top)!

You might not have had the patience when you were kids, though. I started hunting at 12 or so, hunted every year until I was 19 or so, and then I went 4-5 years without even buying a license before I got back into it again in my mid-20's.

Ok, no pics and this boarders on sacrilege. I put two racks of ribs dry rubbed directly into my crock pot on Sunday. Left them in there for 6-7 hours on high. Pulled them out sauced them a bit and put them under the broiler for 8-10 minutes.

Not the best ribs I have had but I will say they were the most tender and for the amount of effort I put it I will do it again!

Looks good to me. Has me thinking about a dip day coming up. We do a few in the crock pot, including buffalo chicken dip. Usually make up some pigs in a blanket, sausage balls and corn chips to dip. Maybe a good beer bread too.

All that sounds awesome. I've had buffalo chicken dip a couple times. Never made it myself, though I'd like to someday.

Super simple to do, depending on how much time I have I do it slightly different. I chunk up 1 8oz package of cream cheese, 1 package of sharp cheddar, 1 cup ranch dressing, 1 cup Franks Buffalo Hot Sauce (get whatever heat you want), I usually put all that in the crockpot and let it melt down on high, once it's melted I throw in shredded chicken (either boiled and shredded in the kitchen aid mixer) or I will buy a roasted chicken at the store and shred that. Mix everything up and taste to see if you need to adjust anything. Sometimes we make our own ranch dressing ahead of time.

My best friend now uses this as a basis for stuffing Jalapeno's which he then wraps in bacon and either smokes them or roasts in the oven. Freakin awesome.

You could even cook the chicken breasts in the crock pot with everything and use two big forks to shred em. That's how i make most Crock-Pot chicken foods.

Hadn't thought of that, this isn't very liquid like though so I'm not sure how it would cook in there. My usual is just boil a couple of breast and then quick in the kitchen aid and into the rest. Usually I want to eat it so the faster I can get it done the better. lol

    It’s cheese, can’t go wrong!

We make something similar and bake it with pepperjack and cheddar on top. Gets rid of some of the moisture. Super good any way you do it!

You don't need liquid to cook the chicken in the crock pot.
