I bought this vehicle with a good title but it was torn apart, literally on the inside and needs quite a bit of body work. When I picked it up, every module was ripped from the vehicle and it only had seats, carpet and wiring. Even the headliner was ripped out. - aftermarket Katzkin - aftermarket rear heated seats - upgraded sound system - Dynamat throughout.
Hey guys, new to the forum but already found it so helpful.

I've never owned a Tacoma, but I got sick and tired of getting my BMW's dinged up in parking lots and over paying for dealer markups so I started looking for a more rugged vehicle than the sports cars I've been driving

I found a 2016 Tacoma that had an active title but was a bit beat up.... A bit.... ;)

    1. The interior is completely ripped out of the vehicle. Let me define "completely". It had a seat, and it had most of the carpet. The airbags were in it thankfully but two were disconnected. Some of the wiring was removed but most was there, only one fully cut out was the antenna wiring all the way from the sharkfin to the a pillar. Headliner is missing and cut in three pieces. Almost every module was removed from the vehicle. Some were broken open

    2. The tail lights were smashed out.

    3. Tailgate and bumper were caved in. Not from an accident. I think an axe.

    4. The blind spot modules were cut out and are missing.

    5. Front bumper was torn apart and parts are missing. Not an accident, just looks like their were ripped off. Front fog light on driver's side was snapped off and it's hanging there.

I got the truck super cheap and had no idea if it would run. I took a massive gamble and so far it's paid off.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
It looks like someone stole it from the Baja plant mid-assembly. You don't have an interior... how exactly has that "paid off". You're brave man; not the dice I'd roll.

the fact someone took the time to absolutely destroy the truck is sad. Other than that, welcome to TW!

Ok, so still figuring out images from mobile but after getting it home, I had to wait on two important parts.

I needed the immobilizer and smart key sensor / push button.

    I also needed a key.

So, as a former audio installer, I got started on the stereo.

As there were NO speakers in it, I started small. I wasn't about to spend a tonne of money before I knew if it even ran so I got some cheap coax speakers and put them in.

The vapour barriers / dust shields were ripped out so I rooted through all the spare parts and some from a wrecker and started sealing the doors.

I'm a huge fan of the Nirco cheap sound deadening foam and butyl backed deadening so I got started with some left overs I have. Sorry I don't have completed pics so some of these pics are partially done.

All doors have the foam and butyl full coverage. The back and floors were fully done as well as the ceiling where I could. So if you don't see full coverage in the pics don't laugh at me, they are just progress pics.
