    this got me thinking. mount the top of the boxes you fabbed to the underside of the filler plate if that saves some room...

    It is, I will add a third mounting point though. The issue was the nuts got loose from the bed rail.

    The boxes are designed so bottles fit snug, threaded bolts would get in the way. I'm going towarda welding bolts under the box and drill holes on the bed. That's how I mounted the battery box.

    I need some tube so I can burn a crossmember to attach a y strap and put my spare in the bed like you have it. The spare location is cool but it does act like a bump pad on inclines lol

    I'm going to add a 3rd vehicle soon, something affordable. I don't want a car note. I want something more comfortable for the family.

    Debating on a 1st gen sequoia or 1st gen highlander.

    A 2nd gen sequoia would be nice, great tow rating but a little more than I would like to spend.

    Any one own either and can talk from experience?

    Negative, I took those off. I welded a round plate to the bottom of the tube then drilled to fit the bolt through. 20200718_131738.jpg
