So @ovrlndkull was the difference noticeable? Were you able to do things you hadn't been able to do before? what was the overall evaluation here? In other words you aren't sying much so IDK if you are happy or not

I honestly have no expectations for Skips truck. Even though I was right there helping do the work and learned alot I just had no realistic expectations one way or the other. I am hoping to get a real world evaluation from him as to the effects of what we did and sincerely hope he was pleased. i understand there will still be changes and tweaks that will need to be done

I am really pleased with the results although there is some room for more droop, already planning some tweaks for that. Bump is perfect. Spring flat there is 1" of shock shaft left and the wheel isn't completely tucked in the wheel well unlike before which is good gives me a little more ground clearance. Droop I'm missing 2-3" possibly. But the rear tire gets out of the wheel well a good 3" which is amazing. about 6" lower than before easy. In the areas that didn't change as much I kept my tires on the ground where before I would hang one in the air made the truck more stable. Climbs the flex helped a lot keeping the wheels planted and moving. There was one drop that James and Brian were hanging a tire and both mine were still planted hard where theirs were off the ground about 3-4". Oh and the longer springs made for a much smoother ride along with the kings.

I am going to go out there in the middle of the week and flex her out and take my time more and actually get some really solid measurements. I think 16" and rotating the lower mount down but keeping the same amount of shaft at ride height will get me the droop I'm looking for but the shock might not of been completely extended I just gotta measure. If not then I'm getting some binding in the bushings or shackles that's preventing full droop.

All in all I think I need to do some more testing and have some time where I am not rushed maybe have a second set of eyes there to double check everything I am measuring.

As long as you are pleased that is all that concerns me. We both knew it wasn't going to be a slam dunk on the first run but it should be just a matter of some tweaking things now i would hope. Of course not wled failures is my main concern :anonymous:

I welded too. BTW think I should complain I got a lot of squeaks from the leafs and bushings I mean that's the norm right

I am extremely pleased I can't thank all of you guys enough I was amazed how much smoother the truck rode and handled. @pabstsmeared @PyritePirateBill @EatSleepTacos @boogie3478 Thank ya'll very much for all the work that went into this epic win today on the shake down run or should I say beat down. I put it through a decent testing today everything went really well minor tweaking and some more testing and I'll have it perfect.

Yellow Wire Mod. Give's you TRAC in 4wd so your LSD kicks in and gives you a poor mans locker. Can't remember if you are locked yet or not.
