So after taking my topper off I have not been impressed with the bed's ability to drain water accumulation well so I decided to remedy that. It's worked well so far may add a couple more holes to the back of the bed. I did this shortly after taking the topper off and been tweaking it ever since.
Fist was to drill 2 more holes along the front of the bed the same size as the stock ones which made there 5 total holes that did ok still not completely satisfied. Then I drilled 2 1/2" holes in the back corners where my TC bed stiffeners are. Better but not great so then I enlarged the front holes all to 1/2" this works even better. Then I added another 1/2" hole in the center at the back even better. I enlarged the holes to 1/2" not only to allow the water to drain faster but these little acorns that fall in the bed just fall right through the holes and don't clog them up.

The reason I have put holes in the back is I have a Rokblock tailgate gap seal that doesn't allow the water to run out through that gap. The nice thing about that is no debris falls in that crack and causes issues with opening the tailgate.

Drainage results, not the best pic but it's pouring out pretty good after the car wash filled the bed with water.

Derped my wheels this am. Then yanked it off. Was not happy with it. It was bridging / pulling itself off the wheel at the tight inside conners. Oh well. Looked good for 5 minutes or so. :annoyed:

Try taking the chrome cladding off the wheels and scuffing them then painting like you did with the other chrome stuff. These clad wheels are on pretty much all vehicles these days, nice easy to fix curb rash but it's a cheap manuf. route.

I had the rims on my 1500 hydrodipped. Was 30 bucks a wheel and still looked new when I traded it for the taco 3 years later

Naw man it's actually holding up really well the new coating they use. Those sliders on the other hand need some attention added a couple more scratches yesterday.
