I agree. What does this do? I don’t understand the description.

Skips ultimate goal is to flat belly his truck. Tuck everything up above the frame rails, and this would help that.

What Rand said. Get rid of the factory trans crossmember and get it tucked up under the truck nicely. Thus gaining some clearance through the center section of the truck. Gotta figure out what to do with the tcase until I can get one that will clock and be above the frame rails. Exhaust will be on the chopping block as well. A set of custom skids from the front to the rear will be done too with a little UHMWPE plastic attached for sliding.

I assume this was a smartass-ish reply. I read the description, but I don’t understand the point of a flat belly on these trucks.

Just build a damn buggy already OP :boink:

Sooooo, I have yet to get Crown on the phone or to reply by email about buying some rear brake lines. Got any other vendors who sell them?

Chop out the stock trans crossmember? You’d have to chop the brackets off the frame too. That would be pretty nice because those frame brackets for the crossmember hanger pretty low.

No it wasn’t. It talked about making it so you can remove your skid plates. I didn’t really understand that part.

Yes the whole stock crossmember and the wings that it bolts to are going to get gone. It'll bring everything up like 2"
Because I want to push the limits of what can be done with current truck
Only because I won't get high centered on the crossmember anymore and I'll go over even bigger shit.

The description is for Jeep guys their rear skid plate is also the transmission crossmember or at least on the yj and tj. So if you drop it the trans and tcase flop down as well. This allows for a separate crossmember and skid set up. Belly up conversion well same as what I am doing getting everything level or above the bottom of the frame as the stock crossmember/skid on jeeps hangs down really low.

For something like I am doing it is just replacing the stock stuff.
