    Well went at doing a CMC today with my 20v DeWalt sawzall got one side done slight rub still. Needs a little more trimmed not hard. But the epic fail was the damn sawzall died. Acting like a switch issue. I'll probably take it apart and see what's going on. This was only going to be temporary until March when the cab mount relocation goes on. But with the new wheels and stuff they rub like crazy.

    -Need to get an alignment
    -I could take the front spacers off to help with the rub but hate the look of one axle being narrower than the other.

    Is it archive garage or alpine something that makes that nice cmc relocate kit. I'm going to do that at some point just because my 3 stage cmc is butt ugly.

    Shoulda had eddy do it lol. I have the Red Goat Fab cab mount relocation, I think it's better than the other one out there. RGF has a sale thread in the BST area. But I ran across this and thought well damn shoulda just done that.

    @TaKoToy I am looking through at different shock mounts for the axle. May just end up ordering some tabs and just making my own mount for my application. Since my 63 swap is a little different than everyone else that has done it before I guess I am breaking new ground.

    Also ~how much do those fender flares you have stick out further than the stock ones.

    I think about 2 inches more. They cover the 35s fairly well. I will try and get a comparison pic if it stops raining.

    To give you an idea of how they cover the 35 the truck next to me was on the same trails as me but he is LT so slings mud all over the sides.

    OK Skip here's a good one for ya. Who makes wheel hub centric adapters? Not spacers, Just to adapt Toyota wheels to something that is not hubcentric. I'm putting the Tundra wheels on the camper as you saw but there is a big gap between the center bore of the wheel and the trailer hub. In essence right now the only thing holding the wheels centered is the shoulders on the lugs. i can take pics if it helps

    @SearArtist

    Also there are a few other do dads like the RR mounts which were like 10 bucks and I ordered some longer shackles because flex!

    We can talk later about all the different options for the springs. I wanted something that I should be able to get a little more flex out of than the avg. ones are getting.

    Yeah I understand what all is needed, but for a 2.5 setup it’s my understand that things get really tight in regards to clearance and that a custom hoop or shock tower is necessary.

    I was eyeballing the ADS 2.5s or King 2.5s with RRs and clickers.

    Not sure yet and I’m probably at least a year out financially due to my recent purchases. :bananadead:

    If you want 14s AG or a custom hoop. But if eddy gets a guinea pig he may have a bolt on option. He use to have bolt on hoops for up to a 14" shock. BAMF you're limited to 12". For towers I think are a little weak and just aren't the best option because they are a lot tighter clearance and may need even bigger spacers. I went with AG because their instructions and R&D made it easy to figure out exactly how to set up the wheels and stuff.

    I’ll talk to Eddy about it. I like the archive garage towers, they are just expensive for what you get.
