2" compared to 2.5" also the spring perches would be longer front to back. Ouch I hate that for him. I know the woes of back pain and issues no fun at all.

OK Mr. research, See if this has posed an issue for anyone else and we will reevaluate from there. skinning the old ones off and welding new ones on shouldn't be too complicated. Also are the leafs wider? Will this interfere with the Ubolt flip?

I've seen his Line-x stuff take a harder beating than Rob has thrown at it and it's held up well. Eventually it chips but only in that one area.

The leafs are wider our stock ones are 2" the 63s are 2.5" but I have a new U-bolt flip for the 63s.

Everyone from what I have found just runs the stock perches. I am going to order them none the less. I will eventually have to change the pinion angle of my diff if we use them good if not I'll have them for when I need to change the pinion angle of my diff.

Well if you're gping to change pinion angles either we need to do that at the same time or wait and do the perches if you do that later. Why have to do it twice? We have alot to get done but if we can save that for last and have time you know I don't mind the work. I imagine I am going to learn quite a bit through this process anyway.

Actually I have somewhat changed my opinion on lineX . Eddys guy that did my last bumper did an excellent job. Just be aware if you take a hard hit the linX is so tough it wont come off. It is possible that it gets a pinhole let's water in and starts rusting. LineX is really good at hiding imperfections which is a good and bad thing.

That's kinda why I am a spray bomb kinda guy. I can keep an eye on everything. Not saying that the Line-x guy isn't good just that look isn't really me and for the reasons you stated.

My rear bumper was done in linex by the previous owner and it was flaky and rusting from the inside out

It was so bad that the steel was pitted in certain spots

O gawd dont post stuff like that now I'm going to be paranoid as shit that my trailer is slowly rusting away. Hopefully will be fine is was primed and rolled on plus it spends most of it's time in the garage.

That didn’t happen overnight, just sayin.

Someone let it get that bad over a period of many years most likely, unless you live up north or on the coast somewhere.

Can't wait to get a garage where I fit. He was a buddy that I picked it up from but not sure the exact details of how he kept it. Obviously some issues were had..

Midwest. Got it powdercoated so I should be good now.

yeah I believe it. I wont be LineX anything, im just going to get my PC buddy to hook me up. if I ever wanted to modify or weld something onto the bumper it would be next to impossible with linex. and that shit holds in the moisture like crazy, if it does get in behind the linex ur dickered and will rot out the metal, and you wont even really know unless it happens to peel off or what ever hahaha could end up with just a linex bumper and no more steel hahaha
