I’m really curious though how my truck got out of that off camber situation by itself. Do I have a limited slip feature in my truck I didn’t know about or something?

I love her with the cap. Less tippy feeling and better looking!

The one where your wheel was in the air? That's that fancy electronic traction control stuff it uses the ABS to lock the spinning wheel so the power goes to the wheel with least resistance.

There couldn't be just me hooked to a tow strap pic :D:anonymous:

Hell I bet you could of made that hill if you could of kept your speed and didn't have to pull off to the rt for the 4 wheeler. You caught Jerry and ran a lot of that hill with the strap under the truck. Randy and I thought that you were going to wrap it up in a wheel.

So I should run the Auto LSD anytime I’m off-road?

Yeah I think I would’ve made it pretty easy. I was worried about the strap too and had to back off a little bit. I was gonna push Jerry up the hill!

Short answer no it came in handy in that situation but a lot of the time it killed your wheel speed in trying to climb the hills and when you needed wheel speed. It'll just take some time in playing with it more to figure out when a good time to use it is and when it's not.

Watching the videos I took and hearing the commentary is hilarious. I am going to try and get them sewn together and uploaded sometime this week.

You have an electronic LSD so when you hit the button, it’ll use brakes to try and stop the spinning tire in an effort to send power to the other one, just like skip said. It’s handy in slow speed flexy situations as you saw where traction isn’t really the issue, but more so the fact one wheel is up. It’s not handy in situations where you need sheer speed to get over an obstacle, because it will slow you down a little.

I see! I’ll keep all this all in mind. Too bad it’ll be pointless once I get my locker in. Need to get on it.

Yeah once you get the locker in turn it off when you go out wheeling. Places like Hurricane creek you can leave it on.

After locker. Places like that you can leave it on but those hill climbs at AOAA you'll want wheel speed and it will kill it when it senses wheel spin so turn it off.

Renee's hill and love tunnel are the only 2 I really saw names of. Plus we went to the whale back and a scenic overlook on the west side. That Park anazed me with how big it is and how many trails there are. Pretty sweet place!
