So essentially it's a giant battery, powered by a bunch of smaller batteries? You must have a huge stocking.

Should be able to keep a fridge/freezer/TV powered up all night/day. Or run a microwave and coffee machine. All important during power outages.

I've been using some Amcrest cameras that I got a couple years ago for ~$100 each. They work through wifi, but require a plug in power source. The footage can be saved on the cloud, but you need to pay a subscription fee if you want to save more than one camera feed. I also use memory cards in the cameras themselves as a backup.
I get notifications on my phone, and I can view all the camera feeds anytime/anywhere I have cell service. I needed cameras in a hurry, and I didn't want to drill and run power & ethernet wire for them.
If you are going to store the footage locally, like on a DVR, you may want a higher priced, more sophisticated system. I like using the cloud.

I have a Lorex system BTW.

12 cameras with IR night capability wired into a 1 TB recorder.

Also have 2 fake cameras and a bunch of motion activated perimeter lights.

It's 7 years old, so I know that there is better technology out there.

I found an old FB post of mine of a David Letterman top ten.

Funnier than shit if you kinda know the Filipino culture:

"David Letterman nailed it! I hope the Filipinos who read this don't get offended! It is really just funny!

Filipinos are certainly getting into mainstream America and into the world. With an estimated 4 million Filipino-American population (as of 2007), Filipinos are an emerging group in a diverse society in the United States .

Filipino talents like Manny Pacquiao, Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda, Lea Salonga, and Monique Lhuiller are doing a great job pitching in!

David Letterman, apparently used Filipino-Americans in one of his skits.

    Here’s the recap:

Top 10 Reasons Why There Couldn’t Be a Filipino-American US President

    By David Letterman

    10. The White House is not big enough for in-laws and extended relatives.

    9. There are not enough parking spaces at the White House for 2 Honda Civics, 2 Toyota Land Cruisers, 3 Toyota Corollas, a Mercedes Benz, a BMW , and
    an MPV (My Pinoy Van).

    8. Dignitaries generally are intimidated by eating with their fingers at State dinners.

    7. There are too many dining rooms in the White House – where will they put the picture of the Last Supper?

    6. The White House walls are not big enough to hold a pair of giant wooden spoon and fork.

    5. Secret Service staff won’t respond to “psst… psst” or “hoy.hoyhoy!”

    4. Secret Service staff will not be comfortable driving the presidential car with a Holy Rosary hanging on the rear view mirror, or the statue of the Santo Nino on the dashboard.

    3. No budget allocation to purchase a Karaoke music-machine for every room in the White House.

    2. State dinners do not allow “Take Home”.

    AND THE NUMBER I REASON WHY THERE COULDN’T BE A FILIPINO-AMERICAN U.S. PRESIDENT IS…

    1. Air Force One does not allow overweight Balikbayan boxes!

    @Justanotherhemi

Mission accomplished. Got my HU pulled out and dash kit changed out. The best kits is by far the best fitting kit I have used!!! It looks factory! (And I have used several....Schoche, Metra, and now this best kits). And while I was at it, I relocated my usb for the stereo from my center console to the cigarette lighter (required slight modification of the cig lighter port, but I don't smoke so it isn't a big deal.)

    Here are the pics!

    All torn apart...

    Modified cigarette lighter port...

    Everything buttoned back up...
    20171215_141901.jpg

I also took some pics of the repairs in daylight...looks pretty dang Good!

HID or LED? what say the lair? Tired of replacing cheaper bulbs so looking to get something that'll last a good while.

For headlights? HID, and only if they're in a projector. Otherwise neither will do you any good.
