I can throw in the trailer for a bit more cash...but definitely not the wheels and tires (unless it's a whole lot more cash). If you ask me (totally not because I'm selling my RTT), I'd capitalize on her acceptance of the idea of spontaneous camping.

People say the bullshit "Happy wife, happy life" line...the real key to a happy life/marriage are separate bank accounts with one joint account that both contribute into to pay living expenses.

Go RTT!! That'll get her excited about camping, and the bumper can be argued to get you to more remote and beautiful places.

    Damn, link?

    :amen:

Money is a huge issue in all marriages with joint bank accounts. She has mentioned it before and I didn't argue with her. I'd like that more even though she will make more money than me once she goes back to school so that's the only thing that sucks, but if I spend my side money on my truck then she can't be mad at me!

And TRUST ME I'm trying to capitalize her liking of the spontaneous camping! First thing she hasn't given me crap about spending money on!

So I am trying to cliff notes myself into the mix. @fatfurious2 found a contractor cap. @EatSleepTacos emailed a CL guy about a bumper. And we are now on a dealer who did not install lug nuts back on wheels. Am i missing anything?

That's pretty much it, except my bumper pitch to the wife got shot down due to being $900 over budget in truck parts for this month already.

I'm hoping so! No luck tonight. Guess I've got to damage my front bumper on the next outing :stirthepot: JK I could ever intentionally do that.
