That’s because it’s fucking cold and the gear oil is super viscous.

    Wait until things warm up.

Well it was still leaking last time when it was this cold, so I'm not too worried about it.

At least you got him outa danger. Hopefully other people in the grouo had the gear you lacked. But now you know what works and what doesn't. Im still learning every day about every thing.
Holy shit! What is it rated for? I didn't check the link, guess I'll just do that. But yeah soft shackles are pretty cool. I'm getting those half hoops welded on tomorow for my soft shackles. We're leaving roughly 3" of airgap so that I can pass the ball thru it still.

    Edit... 42k
Dude, my 57k one is half that size.

It was out in the boonies and I was legitimately a little worried, but it all worked out for the better! I just can't believe he sold it for only $30 when it's $150+tax/shipping

Easy. Get a tall kitchen trash bag and duct tape. Leave some slack and wrap around the leaking seal. Duct tape the bag. Wait for oil to collect. Drink a beer. Hope it helps

Any official TW mod needs to cost at least 50 bucks.

Add two cases of beer and it will pass muster.

First I was driving in the country side for about 15 min, then I went half mile down a dirt road, then drive up his gravel driveway a few hundred feet to his house, all surrounded by trees. It was secluded, to say the least.
