I get that. My point is are the shocks really the part that helps with weight. They just dampen the up and down. The leaf packs are the weight handlers.

After speaking with a few different resources they definitely should. Shock absorbers right?

    Seems relevant.
Yeah shock absorbers. I dunno. I was just throwing out ideas to spur other kinds of thinking.

How much does the bedslide weigh?
    • RTT-130ish
    • bumper - 150 ish
    • spare tire - 90 ish
    • bedslide - 150?
Probably around 530 or so, which is what I'm at now. My dakars and 5100 work fine for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What don't you like about your set up? We're very similarly set up in the back.

Billy’s bumper is closer to 300lbs but there is a clear and distinct feel from front to back. The blings up front handle the “hot bumps” from the f’d up roads here hell of a lot better and the beach run I took the other day as well from the ruts in the sand. The rear not so much. Wheeling feels fine but anything with speed is just meh and far from plush. Unless I’m asking for too much. Am I?

    Bedslide is 130

That's probably where you're feeling the difference, is the nice suspension up front and the cheaper stuff in back, vs mine is cheaper all around. Side note though, there's no way billies bumper weighs that much. That's the bumper @HCJ has and his weighs the same as mine (maybe lighter) and I had weighed mine on a scale at 150.

It didnt stop at that factory hole. It has continued. I think I need to drill another hole for it to stop at. According to @stairgod

Dang, that sucks. I remember talking about that but wasn't sure if you'd messed with it yet.

Yeah, agreed. We can mess with it then. Maybe see if we can pull the metal back together and lay a few beads on it or something.
