I did as well. I loved the trumpet but I got into our Jazz band which we essentially played old blues and stuff like that. We also did a bunch of big band stuff which was fun. I tried picking up the guitar a couple of yrs ago to play and yeah that didn't go so well.

Yeah that’s what I played and was pretty decent! Me and a girl would always be battling for 1st chair. If I still had my sax I’d like to pick up and maybe some things would come back but it’s been long gone for years and they are a little pricey to find in good playing condition. Always enjoyed some good jazz sax playing though!

Is it bad that I live in the South and know who none of these people are? Heard of the Paisley guy but couldnt tell you a name of his song.

She’s actually from Canada and just recently got came onto the scene! I don’t follow too many of them but like their songs. If I heard them I’d recognize the songs and not know who sang it.

Naw not a bad thing they are all newer country artists. Paisley is married to a super model though and he is probably one of the best contemporary guitar players right now (you should hear him play other than country). I bet if you heard some of their songs you'd recognize them.

Yeah, never been a country music fan even tho I grew up surrounded by it and still hear it all around me. I am somewhat of an audiophile and with music, its the actual music that catches me. Not lyrics or context. Mostly its the back beats (drums, bass etc) that attracts me to a style of music. I can listen to everything except country. Its weird but it gives me a negative physical reaction to hear it. Some weird psychological make up I am sure.

That may depend on the country you are listening to and what not. There are some pretty low profile country artists that are more southern rock they just fit in better in that genre.

Me too! I just feel kind of depressed with country. I can do absolutely anything over than country and hard hard metal rock. Other than that I can jam to anything

I always said no to country also, but like @ovrlndkull was saying, some is different. I started listening to the zac brown band. They're a good intro to country I think.

I literally listen to everything and enjoy every genre. I like country rock more than traditional country, I really started liking country for the guitar work in the music. But I agree, traditional country can be super depressing, I have to say my favorite music has to be classic rock/rap, I love me some f#cked up tech n9ne stuff, #1 favorite artist has to be the bestie boys though, they'll never not be awesome.

Brad is goooodddd! Or was... still good, but used to be better haha would love to see his show tho!

    Arb is the shit!!!
todays country is soso imo. I am boycotting local country music stations since the arrival of the bro country aka Florida Georgia line and others like.
I prefer country from the late '90 and beginning of 2000. Better imo, but still singing about girls, trucks and beer lol

Got to flex out these B110s. It’s more than I was expecting! I’m pretty happy with them and my decision to not do a relocate.

Also @Redmann i may be swapping out these Dakar’s for some custom Alcan leafs. I need to find some level ground to verify, but I think I’m squatting a little. If you’re interested I’d give em to you for cheap. Just need to see how much I get back on tax return.
