I'll try to remember to check them but I'm pretty sure they had some kind of grease in them. I had them on the truck a few years and never heard any pops.

To tell you the truth I have no clue what brand I have

You should run out a lot faster than that. I am almost out of my tube and I bought it about a yr ago. Have only had my lift for 6 months or so greasing that stuff. It was used at the SC mod day by like 5-6 people who don't have a grease gun to grease their stuff.

You're in that club to. I will say that wheelers kit I got was pretty awesome the plate even has an extended striker if I ever convert to a hydraulic bump.

Haha that’s why I like the GM ones. Only $50 for a pair and the guy in that thread who has them said they’re like riding on clouds.

I think I am going that route, easier install, cheaper and easily adjustable. Checks all the boxes for me

Hahahaha yeah I know, i just feel like it will last me a long time. But now that I know where the zerks are on my driveshaft I will be doing that more often. Plus once I get the zerk BJ there will be that too. Might just buy a other grease gun hahaha one zerk on my DS I can't get my gun onto. The forward most zerk on the front DS. The head of the gun is too big to fit between the yolk

I am going to end up getting some bolts from ARB I think it is to be ably to grease my rear leaf bushings as well. Do the SPC control arms have zerks for the bushings as well my Icons do.

Yeah thats some good stuff i like Valvoline I think mine is actually some house brand Orielly's stuff but pretty much the same thing.
Put a little bit of that grease on the outside of the bushings and then on the steel sleeve before you put that into the bushings.

20 yrs of wrenching and racing and watching the old timers I picked up a few things here and there. The listening and watching the old timers is really what taught me the most, sadly most of those guys have passed away and I know they had more to teach but won't get the chance so the tricks of the trade died with them.

I hear yah man. Its amazing the knowledge that can be learnt that way. Growing up I was always watching my dad's friends wrench and that's how I became mechanically inclined. As a kid I had more fun watching them work on boat motor or build a deck then playing at the park with other kids haha im not expert by any means, but i know how to figure things out.

At the Chevy dealer I worked at there was this old guy that all the young bucks teased and harassed. Well I became that dealers med. duty diesel guy as well as the we have a car no one can fix guy (not fun). Me and the old guy were in a seperate shop all by ourselves with 12 bays to share between us it was nice and quiet and no fighting over space etc. Well I just hung out and did my thing for several weeks just said goodmorning to the guy and see ya in the evening. I am sure he thought I was going to be just like all the other guys my age in the shop. Well after about a month or so he started talking to me and telling me to come here to show me shit that I had no clue about. If he saw me struggling with a noise warranty issue (the worst) he would help me find it and show me tricks on how to find it. We became friends. The rest of the guys hated how much I could get done while they struggled with stuff, the reason I got it done was because of old Andrew. I'll never forget that man!
