    Gotta open your eyes actually:rofl:
    i was more thinking of a base plate bolted on the floor of the bed with anchor points, and a ratchet strap to hold the tire on it... and then something to prevent it to fall on the side, little anchor on the bed side. Since all the weight is hold by the base plate, i think it wouldn't hurt the bedside to hold it a little

    @EatSleepTacos with all the room you'll have with the prinsu caprack, why don't you just put the spare up there? Spare is used a lot less ofteb than the stuff you have in your drawers, so I don't see why it would always interfere woth what you are doing daily... in my case I love it under the truck bed (but I have to high clearance), if I can't have it there, then it would be side of the bed if no cap. If there is a cap, then on the roof it would go. I open the cap to often to have it on a swing out lol would drive me nuts

    For that I agree! Swing out is awesome for jerry cans, propane, trasharoo and tools! And since your is not DD it is fine! I should have said it would drive me nuts for a everyday use of the truck and bed like I do now. But for offroad and camping dedicated rig, swingout is good!
