Any of you ever get a wierd rattle around the area of the fan pulley on a 2nd gen? It is intermittent and usually only audible when idling in gear. It got worse when I changed my serpentine belt which leads me to believe it's one of the pulleys. It's one of those sounds that's sounds expensive

 

those are the worst ones!

 

Maybe it’s one of the idler pulleys? There’s three and they’re only about $30 each for an aftermarket one on rock auto. My truck sounds terrible from all the dirt and shit in them, so I need to replace them. Just gonna do all three at once.

 

I wish I did all mine at the same time. Oh well. Is it 2 different pulleys? I think it is iirc from when I changed my one.

 

I need to do mine too, and LCA's, and the roof molding, and the trans fluid, and the spark plugs, and the diffs and transfer case...etc

I really just need to sit down and list everything out and prioritize it to get things going and taken care of!

 

Got out on the range this morning for qualifications. During my patrol rifle qual, my first round using mechanical offset was nearly perfect...the other two weren't too shabby either!

 

I was just thinking that today! I need to write everything down because I'll inevitably forget it all if I don't.

 

I have a truck dedicated list on my phone, just to remember lol And I can write down anything that go through my mind about the truck, anywhere I am lol

Tempting....trying to not buy new tires but I really want some MTs and figured I'd give it a face lift too.

Maybe @Kemosabe or @Bocsy44 will buy my wheels. You could come on another trip and just mount them and go back across the border. No one will know if you just keep rolling.
