Once I add my plano rifle case to the roof rack I’m gonna measure how tall I am! That way I’ll know for sure if I fit somewhere. I think right now I’m about 6’6” tall

The garage I almost got stuck in was like 6' 10" or something around that height

No, obviously as soon I realize I was scraping I reversed. I thought I might be close so I was driving really slow to enter. It just touched the top of the case on the prinsu

That’s another plus I like about my shell is that I got more places now. I got pretty close one time before. Maybe within a few inches and had to hope the height didn’t change at all.

Thought I was gonna rio the tent off the truck. Lol

Well, here's a serious near blonde moment for ya. So I had a 4RT, and I wanted to add a cargo basket on the top for beach things like chairs, carts etc. So I bought the OEM cross bars, and a Thule Canyon basket. I watched all the instl videos I could fine, read the instructions like 50 times. even bought a professional (14 bucks) trim install/removal kit. The trim tool kit was definitely needed to get the roof rack trim pieces open without breaking anything, and I was ecstatic that I did it successfully. I installed the OEM cross bars like a pro. I took my time with the rack and made some mods to it so that it was better than OEM and attached it just right measuring as I went along, again and again. The setup was perfect in every way. I was so happy. I stood back in the garage and looked at my handy work. Damn, was I good or what?! Went and got the wife, showed her, and she applauded. Then I want to pull it out of the garage. Oh Shit! I forgot to measure the height of the garage door opening. If the garage had not had a concrete apron that dropped an inch or two in the 12 inches it extended beyond the face of the garage I would have had to let air out of the tires it was so close!!!!!!
    :bananadead: :anonymous:

So now, before I attampt any mod, I ask myself, ok, this is how it is supposed to be when done right. We know things can go wrong during, but what could go wrong after!? LOLOLOL
    DOH!

For what, the antenna? I did an nmo cb antenna on my roof so I have a 3/4” hole in my roof. I’m stuck with that set up for forever

Made it to NC at about 430 last night. I'm definitely enjoying the 75 degrees and sunny!

Lol I think at that point 430 is considered morning time. Glad you made it safe and thanks for grabbing those parts for me!
