We have a weird schedule for some officers too. Four days on, three off, three on, two off, two on, one off, one on, four off. It works out to about 15 days a month but ends up with 6 more hours than a M-F guy. But, I like my M-F, when ever I want to when ever I want, with weekends and holidays off.

Yea, I don't have it that bad. The worst part is driving into Baltimore. It's always nice to have to avoid a crack head homeless guy who just pissed himself as you walk to the office.

Been to Chincoteague before. Smaller yes, but lovely and great oysters!

you can use either vhb tape or magnets, my main one is attached via vhb tape, the other one has magnets so i can remove when i dont need to run both.

I gotcha. For some reason magnets didn’t even cross my mind. :facepalm:Found some magnetic mounts I can run without a roof rack. Thanks man!

Had a shop do my inner CV boot (passenger side). Not sure if in the process the tie rod was left hanging weird or whatever but there is definitely a bit of play in it. Grabbing and giving it a good shake there is some noise on the inner tie rod side. And when I pull out my parking spots at the mall I can hear some slight knock/pop from the front passenger side. That’s the best summary I can put together in not too many words. I was thinking it might be the brake calipers again but meh.. even though the EBC pads are noisier than the OEM ever was

I’ve only ever done outers, never inners. Check your cam tabs and see if they’re flared out at all. That can be a source of the clicking as well from the bolts shifting back and forth a tiny bit.

Leaving them hanging won't cause play or noise. I would say something is loose or they shifted something to cause the noise to happen. If they truly have play then that was the case before the shop did the work unless they loosened the jam nut for the outer tie rod and it needs to be tightened back up.

This rental is sweet as hell! Fully loaded Impreza for the day while I get a new windshield.

It does, and it’s even improved! If I start drifting out of my lane, it’ll steer me back to center. It’s extremely subtle, but it works.
